If I propose three words characterize the style of Kiriko Nanana (Tsubame, 1972) would say that is rigorous, elegant and emotional.
I mean, strict, dictionary in hand, it would in the meanings of severe, austere, precise and thorough, and perhaps also in these other: rough, acrid, cruel and hard to bear, but it depends on individual taste and whether you consider them pejorative qualities. If so, better not take them into account.
I wrote "elegant" and volume of the dictionary: it features grace, simplicity, airy, well proportioned and-such a thing-revealing distinction, refinement and good taste. Note that I skipped the qualities of the word applied to people and I've spent here all the meanings, but "endowed with nobility." And yet the noble quarter includes sense of "unique or special in its kind, two features that I consider intrinsic to Nanan, but I understand in the general sense of the term" noble "a comparative assessment of the individual -By indivisible-with others of their species. And today, just do not want to get into comparisons. I try to assess in the absence of anything else.
What else? Emotional: to produce emotion. That is, it produces an intense mood disturbance and transient, pleasant or painful, which is accompanied by a stir somatic. Two points: first, involves passing "what I pay or short-lived, and how much or how little are relative concepts. It is clear that no one is left intensely altered forever, not for a long time as if it had happened a misfortune or would have won the lottery, but, you see, I remember love hurts and I get excited. And then I passed. Am I clear? Second, as a "shock somatic" worth goosebumps and hair standing on end. The tears, but showing that it is not my case. And before I forget, I need to outline the other meaning of emotion waiting with interest to be involved in something that is happening. That's it.
Now if you want to be more concise, rather than three words were to define the work of the Japanese one, this would be tricky. Note that "delicate" is thin, soft, tender, but tasty, gift, happy, difficult, and I stay here, eye, with the meaning of is not accomplished or executed without much work, not because they do not easily understand, "exquisite, exquisite, handsome, graceful, subtle, sharp and witty. Where is related ingenious intuition, understanding and poetic and creative powers. And if a single word I also would be worth it rather delicately detailed. For detailed equals that stops at the smallest things. How small is about teenage love that goes round and round Nanana, obsessively detailed millimeter.
Although well thought out, rather stay with the two, detailed and delicate. But then it would not be a single word and I plan to be concise.
