confess that when I read the premise I thought HAUNTED could be something very similar to SPAWN and aesthetically similar to Spider-Man drawn by McFarlane. But this is a new character, also written by Robert Kirkman, head of the Living Dead and my fond memories of the first issues of the entertaining THE DARKNESS written by Garth Ennis, with his pinpoint rogue to star in a gangster thug antihero turned into supernatural (suspected HAUNTED could also have something like that )
And the fact is that Haunted has proved a pleasant surprise, not only in graphic art. The story of two middle-aged brothers who are fatal, a priest, godless, bitter and heartbroken, you spend the money from his church in a prostitute who also confesses (nothing to do with Jesse Custer preach, except in appearance), and the other a super-secret intelligence agencies of those that exist only in comics, murderer, husband, good people, and besides dead ... interest from the first pages and traps in reading to the end of the 6 numbers that make up the volume, with authentic dialogues breathe and situations as disparate as credible (characteristics shared with Kirkman's zombie series) using public areas to avoid gender stereotypes and, ultimately, build a good comic.
