I just finished reading the Tex Joe Kubert and Claudio Nizzi, you see that I have a few years behind some of my readings. And yes, I had a good time with the adventures of Texas Rangers. Not that there is vibrated from beginning to end, but I have not bored. Come on, that the thing has been fun.
Most of merit, no doubt, have it Joe Kubert (Brooklyn, 1926), the graphic narrative genius, a master teacher who needs no introduction. Kubert breathe bullets from all sides, has a natural gift for image-sequence arguments and has a long, long job: they are almost seventy years in the gap, said soon. It is clear that theirs is not the avant-garde or experimental, which makes it needless. His imprint is that of a strong narrator, resourceful, efficient and possessor of a few influential style, personal, beautiful and joyful recognition. Tex will not say that. The Lone Rider, which is the name of the cartoon in question, is your best work because it is not. Lack Detail the Tor, Abraham Stone dynamism and vigor Fax from Sarajevo, but the work of the artist is nice and honest. Certainly more beautiful and more honest in the initial
sequences in the rearward, and yet, the latest, rougher finish, have a perfect storytelling, available to a select few. (And you wonder if Kubert not be able to engage the reader even if they propose to illustrate the instructions of a machine drawing with his left hand.) For its part, the script Nizzi (Sétif, 1938) part of a hackneyed but effective premise. Four of those miscreants who populate the western genre and libidinous kill for pure fun to an angelic settler family, friends of Tex Willer for more signs, the iconic star of the better-known Italian head created by Gian Luigi Bonelli and Aurelio Gallepini in 1948. And in those that Willer, coincidentally visiting, he meets the dead and promised revenge. Then follows the bloody trail of the group and soon faces them, but is defeated, beaten and thrown off a cliff to certain death from which, of course, escapes. From here, then the necessary (and dizzying) physical replacement of the hero, Tex sets out to search and arrest of criminals at this point, and to provide episodic structure to the whole, have broken ranks and separate their roads. From my point of view, the weaknesses of the story is the inexperience of the figures, the lack of originality in solving conflicts, the occasional repetition of some simple diagrams and general. Best, effectiveness and agility of argument and the truculence of certain scenes, which at times are far from conventional. If you seek a leisure
