The first time it happened was in Annaba, many years ago. An employee of the national steel company asked me to advance money to buy medicine for his wife, who was ill. He assured me that in two days I would return. Coincidentally, the company's financial director, with whom he had made good friends, told me a few days later that person was a month's vacation. I replied that I had a sick wife, who knew because he had borrowed money. I liked a good fight and naive. An hour later I called his office to go see the CEO and tell him what happened. It seemed awful for a middle level employee society devoted to scams. They advised me to never lend money to anyone in Algeria and said that they would be in charge of the case. That afternoon I had the money in my office.

Two years ago almost fooled me twice in a row with the same story. One was the valet of my residency, I needed to buy medicine for his diabetes. I have never see that I paid twenty dollars. Yes, then repeatedly asked me money, always be faced with an extreme situation, and my answer was in all cases to first give me back what I owed. Another neighbor came to me with the same story, claiming only four euros worse. The fact is that it did not change a thousand dinars, ten euros, and it was that the amount had not been back to see.
Earlier this
year was a guardian of my job asking me fifty euro came to buy medicine. It was a person I liked very well, but I knew that was losing money to lend. I had to do as they had very little to reduce losses up, because obviously I have not seen what I left.

I count as a self-punishment. I hate to be so cruel. I can not 100% sure that the story was false and in moments of weakness I felt bad remembering this passage. I do not want anyone to become numb and I prefer to remain the idiot that many will continue building.
